A study in contrasts, “Fractice Whorld” combines hardware and software, as separate digital images are merged into one.
Fractice, a real-time fractal explorer, is being used to generate the background layer, while the geometric visualizer Whorld is being independently controlled in the foreground. The two layers are then lumakeyed together using an Edirol V4 video mixer, to create a composite image of competing shape and motion.
