This piece was the product of a very late night experimenting with video hardware. The inspiration was a recently acquired Korg Kaoss Entrancer – an effects unit capable of manipulating audio and video with the swirl of a finger. I chained it together a Samsung SCD80 camera, a television screen and an Edirol V4 mixer, and kept tweaking until I found the right settings.
